🍼 The Best Baby Products for New Moms

Why Your C-Section Scar Feels Numb, Itchy, or Tight
If your scar feels totally numb or weirdly sensitive, don’t panic—it’s completely normal. Here’s what’s happening:
Numbness? Your nerves were cut during surgery and need time to regenerate—this can take months or even years.
Itching? This usually means your scar is healing, but avoid scratching! Applying a doctor-approved moisturizer can help.
Tightness? Scar tissue forms as part of healing, which can make the area feel stiff, tugging, or even sore.
💡 What helps?
Gentle scar massage (once cleared by your doctor) – Helps improve flexibility and reduce tightness.
Hydration & movement – Staying active and drinking plenty of water can help with circulation and healing.
Wearing soft, breathable clothing – Avoid anything that irritates your scar area.
Still feeling discomfort months later? A pelvic floor or postpartum specialist can help!
🧘♀️ Mobility: Easy Stretches to Release Tension
✅ Seated Side Stretch – Sit up tall, raise one arm overhead, and lean to the side. Opens up your ribs and relieves stiffness.
✅ Knee-to-Chest Stretch – Lie on your back and gently pull one knee toward your chest. Great for lower back pain relief.
✅ Cat-Cow Stretch – On hands and knees, slowly arch your back up, then drop your belly down. Improves spine flexibility.
✅ Wall Angels – Stand against a wall and move your arms up and down in a “goal post” position. Relieves shoulder tension from feeding and baby-holding.
💡 Bonus tip: Avoid deep twisting stretches too soon—they can put pressure on your healing core!
